This is a 100% All Original 1918 Dated very large size advertisement for July 4
th
, 1918 Sidewise Launching of the 3500 Ton, S.S. LADY JANET, WWI Victory Ship constructed and launched from Great Lakes Engineering Co. Yard in Ecorse, Michigan.
The Poster was issued by: EMERCENCY FLEET CORPORATION, Philadelphia, PA.
The 1918 original WWI advertisement / Poster measures 56” x 43” inches.
The 1918 Poster was professionally mounted onto thin off-white colored canvas cloth for preservation.
The 1918 Poster is in very nice overall condition and shows some wear just around the edges.
The Poster has no damage or cracking and is in really very nice condition for being over 100 years old.

Very rare 100% original 1918 VICTORY SHIP launching advertisement.
I had to use a couple of pieces of wood (visible in the photographs) to hold the sides of the Poster from rolling when I took the photographs.
One of these same original 1918 posters is in on display in the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in Washington D.C.
