Vintage Hopi Indian 3rd Mesa Wicker Basket Shallow Bowl Native American Basketry

Description

Offered is an early 20th Century Hopi Third Mesa Basket Bowl. It is unusual to find these shallow bowls--you usually see the deep peach baskets or flat plaques.
This measures 11" by 3" deep. It is still a nice solid basket with no breaks. Some fading/dustiness to interior from use. Some nicks to wicker and wraps on rim, but overall, a nice antique basket.
This came from a retired doctor in St. Louis who sold some of his Native American collectibles upon retirement. I'll send details to purchaser.

I will mail first class to Canada but to all other locations, I prefer to mail priority to insure your item arrives safely. Please email me with questions. Sorry for the expense, but  I've had items lost overseas when mailing first class and don't want to take the risk of losing items.
*I pack carefully and try to reuse materials to save on environmental impact. I often double-box items with smaller gift boxes collected from various thrift stores. Though I don't like styrofoam peanuts for environmental reasons, I have found they are the best at protecting fragile  items against damage during shipping. I reuse all that I receive and hope you will make use of the ones that come in your packages. Thank you.
