USS Constitution "Old Ironsides" Bluejacket Model Kit #K1018

Description

The official model of the USS Constitution Museum! This is one vintage, unbuilt wooden model of the USS Constitution, "Old Ironsides", by Bluejacket Shipbuilders. At 1:96 scale, the model is still over 40" long when completed. The kit includes carved hull, assorted wooden pieces for construction, fittings, a wooden stand, and instructions. This particular kit also includes an authentic piece of wood cut from material removed from the actual ship during refitting that may be used to carve a small part of the model, and a copy of Ship Models from Kits by Colin Riches for added value.
This kit was part of a large lot donation to or organization from a master ship model builder. As such, we have neither the time nor expertise to be able to inventory every kit to ensure every piece is present. This model appears fairly complete, including most of the fittings still sealed on their original bags. The item is being sold "As-Is".
