    Description

    Original WW1 poster 30" x 20".  titled "Are you 100% American- Prove It!- Buy U.S. Government bonds-Third Liberty loan". It was made by the Sackett & Wilhelms Corp, NY.  It is marked in the bottom left corner "10-A". and signed below the red white and blue illustration of the "US Treasury will pay interest every 6 months" is the name "Stern". The poster itself is in very good condition, especially considering it is 100 years old. There is no color fading or tears, but does have crease marks in various parts of the poster and some stain/dirt marks along the right border(see photo). Sometime in the 1950's the previous owner had this poster along with others they owned mounted on poster board (not attached) and shrink wrapped in plastic to preserve their condition.
