    Description

Orig. WWI Window Decal w/ Protective Envelope: Subscriber Victory Liberty Loan
    The photographs
    almost tell the whole story
about this collectible item; “Subscriber Victory Liberty Loan Awarded by the United States Treasury Department” and at the bottom (in fine print), “Moisten top and bottom and apply to glass.  Easily removed with cold water. Zincograph Company N. Y.”
The rest of the story (from Wikipedia):
    Victory Liberty Loan
“A fifth bond issue relating to World War I was released on April 21, 1919. Consisting of .5 billion of gold notes at 4.75% interest, they matured after 4 years but could be redeemed by the government after 3. Exempt from all income taxes, they were called at the time "the last of the series of five Liberty Loans."
However; they were also called the "Victory Liberty Loan," and appear this way on posters of the period.”
The decal is over 100 years old and  is in very good/excellent condition, however, there is a crease at the lower righthand corner where it appears to have been folded—check the photographs to see this; the decal comes with a protective envelope
    Measurements: Decal 6 ¼ inches by 8 ¼ inches; Protective Envelope: 7 ½ inches by ~8 ¾ inches
