    16th Century Scorpion Double Crossbow Mantua's range of period weapon kits all feature quality hardwood, complete with brass, metal and wood fittings. The wood is all laser cut for accurate assembly and the manual is clear and detailed with comprehensive illustrations. The kits are supplied with a wooden display base complete with a brass engraved nameplate. These static models make excellent display pieces.  The Scorpion XVI century double crossbow is considered to be one of the forerunners of the modern cannon.
