Huge Lot of Vintage Industrial Spools of Thread
I found this wonderful box of old thread (2nd. picture) at a country Estate auction!
(The box will not be included with the thread.  I will ship it in a Priority box.)
There are 62 spools of thread in many colors.  It looks to be cotton, but I'm not sure.  A lot of the ends of the spools show "STAR Merc.".   One spool shows "Kilburn Mill, New Bedford, Mass."
Some of the spools may be wood but most look to be hard pressed cardboard.  Hard to tell.  Condition is very good for spools this old!  Some have light soil/dust.
A few of the spools have just a little thread but most have lots and lots!  There are probably hundreds of yards of thread here!  Spools measure about 2 3/4" tall.
This is a great lot of thread to use as intended or use as decor in your Farmhouse or Country home!  Fill a wood bowl with these old spools for a unique display!
