ca. 1950s small (7/8 inch wide  x 3/4 inch tall -
I would give dimensions in picas except I no longer have a line gauge)
letterpress line cut or line engraving (known on ebay as printer's blocks - but a real printer never would have called them that), made from ZINC and wood showing a stereotypical 1950s mid century "Father Knows Best" man and wife sitting comfy in living room or den, doing their evening reading.
The scan in which the husband is on YOUR LEFT is what the cut will look like when you remove it from the mailing package. The other scan, with the husband on YOUR RIGHT is "flipped" by my computer to give you an
idea
of what the cut will look like when it actually prints something on your printing press.
Great for a boutique letterpress printing shop that might occasionally do things needing a mid-century, TV situation comedy "family" type look.
Use dimensions given above to judge size. Ebay's new rules about pictures may well mean the scans shown here are larger than the actual size of the cut.
